How much Smallholder Range Herbal Goat Mix can I feed my goats?

Goat's will principally eat hay or roughage and this should form the basis of their diet. An adult goat will consume about 1-2 kg of hay per day and a milker may consume up to 3.5 kg, depending on the amount of milk being produced

Adult goats that are not milking will consume about 0.5-1kg of mix each day. A milker will require about 2-3 kg of mix per day, depending on how much milk is being produced.

Goats should also be fed plenty of fresh hay and ensure that plenty of fresh water is available at all times. Any changes in feed should be introduced slowly.
